Alleviate voltage spike when ARM button is pressed
These photos show the method for changing the PT-600 from using a solid state relay to energize
the outputs, to using a contactor to energize the outputs. This change alleviates the voltage spike
sometimes seen on the outputs when the ARM button is pressed. However, the pulse will not start
on the zero crossing when the contactor is used, as it did with the solid state relay. An upgrade kit
consisting of the contactor and wiring terminations is available from Compliance West USA.
