Compliance West USA has designed and built a relay switch in accordance with the requirements of IEC 65, Figure 7b. This switch is used on our 12kV line of surge testers, and it is available for our lower output testers as an option.
With this switch, adherence to all requirements mandating a IEC 65 construction switch can be met. All dimensional spacings of Figure 7b have been addressed in this switch design and we have built the switch to conform conceptually with the actual drawing of Figure 7b as well.
While conformance with the constructional requirements of Figure 7b are assured and may in some cases required, operation of the MegaPulse with the IER option is not significantly different from the MegaPulse with the standard relays.
