This option allows detection of arcs through insulation, and also will detect leakage current problems.
When ordered with TestMinder MegaPulse, the computer file generated for each test will record a PASS or FAIL result.
The knob is set for the level of energy generated by the failure of the insulation system using known good and bad samples, or the resistor supplied with the MegaPulse. For best results, the knob setting is recalibrated when the test voltage is changed.
