This tester is built to the requirements of IEC 60060-1 with a 500 ohm impedance. For Standards such as EN 62052-11, Clause 7.3.2 and VDE PM323E, this tester allows impulse testing to determine spacings in lieu of other requirements. This tester can perform to test parameters requiring surge voltages of up to 12kV. The MegaPulse 1.2x50-12.3 500 ohm is built specifically to conduct these tests. It uses our proprietary High Voltage relay, built to the requirements of IEC 65 Figure 7 b for robustness and complete compliance with the requirements.

In addition, for automated testing, the MegaPulse 1.2x50-12.3 500 ohm is available with TestMinder, our computer control and test reporting option, and Arc Detection, which can detect and report an insulation failure. When both of these options are ordered together, the computer-generated test report will advise which tests passed and which failed.

Output: 1.2 uSec rise time and 50 uSec fall time as specified in IEC 60060-1, clause 19 "Standard
                Lightning Impulse".
