The MegaPulse 1.2x50-8kV PV is specifically designed to perform the Input Test on PV Panels in accordance with IEC 61730-2, Para. 10.5.3. The output is in accordance with the published waveform from 800-8000V peak (open circuit).
Some customers may wish to be in complete accord with the Standard regarding waveform tolerances while performing the tests. Those customers should order our Option CC, which provides a waveform in accordance with the published waveform and within the tolerance limits noted when testing a panel which has 10 - 180nF of capacitance.
The tester charges in 12 seconds nominal, but customers with requirements for faster charge times may order our Option FC, which allows charging times of 3 seconds nominal.
The MegaPulse 1.2x50-8kV PV is used to conduct the Input Test on Photovoltaic Panels in accordance with IEC 61730-2, Para. 10.5.3. When equipped with Option CC, it presents a waveform to the panel which is in accordance with the tolerance requirements of IEC 1180-2.

Option BNCV: Front panel BNC, 1000:1 for reading peak output voltage.
Option CC: Capacitor Compensated output provides waveshape in accordance with the tolerances of IEC 1180 when used with a panel having capacitance between 10 and 180nF.
Option FC: Provides ~3 second charge time
